Shwedagon Pagoda - Yangon, Myanmar

Shwedagon Pagoda is the most revered temple in Myanmar that all Buddhists hope to visit once in their lifetime. The100 metre high central stupa is covered in gold leaf.

Orphaned girls in pink robes with shaved heads sit learning to become Buddhist nuns.
